Million is the Executive Director of North Carolina African Services Coalition (NCASC). Prior to NCASC, Million worked in various capacities for government, non-government, and international organizations. Million’s background includes food security and food price analysis, community development, micro-finance, and poverty alleviation and participatory programs.
Million has experience worked with internally displaced and marginalized peoples. Million’s work focuses on providing leadership and supervision to his organizational team. He is an expert in community development, program, project and budget planning and management, strategic planning, collaboration and partnership building, and resource development.
Million has a certificate in Mastering Project Management and graduated from High Point University, Nonprofit Management Institute, in nonprofit management and Organizational development. In 2014, Million joined IMPACT Greensboro, a leadership incubator with diversity at its core, draws a colorful cross section of emerging community leaders through Center for Creative Leadership facilitation. Million is IMPACT Change Agent ’14 and was a member of “Poverty” dialogue group. A native of Ethiopia, Million received his Bachelor in Agricultural Economics from Alemaya University, Ethiopia and a Master’s in Economics from North Carolina State University.
